Elena Caulfield is a horse trainer at Dalton Downs working with troubled horses, when she comes to the attention of Rafe Santiago. His job involves solving problems and he senses that there is some problem with Elena, possibly involving her horse, Springer, who is soon to give birth. In typical romance fashion, the two meet and sparks fly. As they begin to know and care about one another, real problems come to the forefront. An enjoyable romance, with a little suspense thrown in.
