In Eclipse, Bella faces the task of balancing her love for Edward, a vampire, with her affection for Jacob, a werewolf. At the same time, she faces the ever-increasing fear of an attack by Victoria and the mysterious news of what appears to be an army of newborn vampires terrorizing Seattle. Once again, Stephenie Meyer is a masterful storyteller, keeping the reader on tenterhooks. The romance of Bella and Edward remains central to the story.
