This was a beautiful, touching story of a china rabbit that learns how to love. At the beginning of the story, Edward Tulane is the cherished toy of a little girl named Abilene. His only adventures at the beginning of the story consist of being grabbed by the neighbor’s dog and misplaced by a new maid. All this changes when Abilene and her family board the Queen Mary for a trip across the ocean to London and Edward is accidentally thrown overboard.
